PERTH AMBOY, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) – Gov. Chris Christie visited a Perth Amboy lady Thursday to prominence increases in skill taxation relief for seniors.
Christie told Sultana Kizides his bill doubles a skill taxation relief module for seniors and spends $90 million more on a module that freezes seniors’ skill taxes.
Democrats admit the extra appropriations for comparison taxation relief,
but say they are responsible.Christie’s initial bill draft a $25 million cut to the Senior Freeze program.
Assembly Democrats in Trenton moreover attempted to uncover the disastrous effect the governor’s bill will have on nursing home patients and Medicaid recipients during a conference on Thursday at the Statehouse.
Gov. Christie slashed $1.3 billion from the bill Democrats sent him before signing a $29.7 billion bill June 30. Nursing homes mislaid about $30 million in aid.
